Year-End Show

We are still negotiating the weekend the show will be on with the Mount Elizabeth Theatre.
It is mandatory for all students to participate in the Year-End Show.
Each family purchases 6 show tickets at $12.00 each; a total of $72.
Bullying Policy
Bullying is not tolerated at Dance Kitimat Studio Inc. Parents will be notified of any issues within the class, and
are responsible for talking to their child and resolving any issues. Teachers will not be solely responsible for
settling disputes.
Attendance Policy
Dance is a team sport, so it is very important to have committed students and respectful teammates. If a student misses 3
classes without a medical reason or consultation with the teacher, they will be asked to leave the group for the remainder
of the season and will not perform in the year end show. No refund will be given. After being away sick 3 times, we
require a Doctors note.
Refund Policy
Dance Kitimat Studio Inc. only accepts students who enroll for the full year (with the exception of a possible adult or
alumni class) Payments can be made monthly by post dated cheques, or half tuition can be paid in September and 2nd half
in January. Refunds will only be given if student leaves the studio by Oct 15th, unless for an unforeseen medical reason.
Costume Deposit
All students must pay a costume deposit at registration. A student in one class pays a $50 deposit and a student in 2 or more classes pays a $100 deposit. Costume deposits will be taken off of the final costume invoice.
All costume deposits are non-refundable after October 15th

Costume Fees
Each student is required to purchase a costume per class they are enrolled in. Costumes can cost anywhere
from $60-$150. This is an additional fee on top of class tuition. Costume deposits will be put towards costume
purchase total.
Remaining Class Fees
All costumes and class fees must be paid before the year end show of the current dance year. If there are any outstanding
payments by this date, the student will not be permitted to be in the year end show.
Class Photo Week
Class photos are included in your registration fee!

Class Viewing Policy
Dance Kitimat has a Non-Viewing policy to avoid interruptions during precious instructional time. Exceptions
are for medical reason, or invitations by instructor(s). There will be a viewing week in November or December!
